Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to lead and oversee clinical operations on a designated nursing unit within our skilled nursing facility. The RN Unit Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and effective coordination of interdisciplinary services. This role is ideal for a motivated clinical leader with strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
● Oversee daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit
● Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff (LPNs, CNAs)
Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality resident care in accordance with facility policies and Florida regulations
● Monitor resident conditions, participate in care planning, and ensure timely documentation
● Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, physicians, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members
● Ensure compliance with CMS, AHCA, state, and federal guidelines
● Participate in admissions, discharges, and care conferences as needed
● Assist with audits, surveys, and quality assurance/performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives
● Promote a positive, professional work environment and resident-centered care culture
