Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

Advocate Aurora Health, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse Behavioral Health to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive behavioral health setting. Assess patients’ physical and mental health needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, monitor responses, and document care accurately. Use therapeutic communication and evidence-based approaches to support patients experiencing behavioral health challenges, and respond calmly to crises using appropriate de-escalation practices. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, patients, and families to coordinate treatment and promote continuity of care. The role calls for an active RN license and BLS certification; behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.
