Shift Leader

Position Overview The Shift Leader is responsible for leading the store in partnership with the General Manager or Assistant General Manager, ensuring team clarity on goals, expectations, product knowledge, cleanliness, and guest connections during the shift. Core Responsibilities Demonstrate mastery of the "Doing" process with enthusiasm and excellence. Lead shifts focused on team engagement and guest satisfaction, while maintaining the phrase "Make Fun Happen. Think strategically to maximize product sales and manage waste. Own the overall store vision, including look, feel, and cleanliness. Understand daily deployment and associated roles and responsibilities. Communicate effectively on the floor and leverage collaboration. Anticipate team and customer needs, addressing situations proactively. Prioritize duties, delegate objectives, and manage the shift and the shift that follows. Ensure SOPs and quality standards are executed accurately and consistently. Coach team members actively in real time to promote performance and growth. Train team on role responsibilities, product knowledge, and promotional items. Complete administrative tasks accurately (bank deposits, inventory, orders). Mentor team members about career and professional development. Key Skills and Qualifications At least 1 year of leadership, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience. Ability to work early mornings, evenings, some holidays or weekends; minimum age 18. High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in a fast‑paced environment with a focus on quality and teamwork. Physical Requirements The role requires hearing, speaking, seeing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for 4 to 8 hours.
