Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist

To support effective billing processes, the full-time remote Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist will track insurance payments, resolve payment issues, and focus on process improvements within the organization. Key responsibilities Track insurance payments and resolve payment issues using EPIC Implement process improvements and handle appeals and account resolutions Utilize automated patient accounting systems for efficient billing operations Required qualifications Two to three years of healthcare billing or accounts receivable experience Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Microsoft Office applications Knowledge of insurance contracts, billing regulations, and medical terminology Familiarity with HCPCS/CPT/ICD-10 codes and revenue codes Certification as a Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) is desirable
