Job Description

Job Opportunity: Full-Time Geriatric Physician

Our organization is currently in search of a dedicated Geriatric physician to join our team in the vibrant downtown area of Indianapolis, Indiana. This role offers a chance to fulfill a meaningful vocation, centered on gratitude, service, and the profound duty of caring for those who have served our country.

Position Highlights:

Outpatient Geriatric consultations
Standard work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no on-call duties
Focus on quality care: average of 1-2 new consultations and 3-4 follow-up patients per half-day clinic
Mainly based in Indianapolis, with approximately one day per week at an alternate outpatient site (options include Lafayette, Edinburgh, Brownsburg, Bloomington, or Terre Haute)
Possibility for faculty appointment and opportunities to teach residents and fellows
Loan repayment assistance of up to $200,000 available

Qualifications:

MD or DO degree
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Geriatrics
Possession of a current, unrestricted medical license to practice in any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth, including the District of Columbia

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonuses, and regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid leave annually (comprising 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and a potential 5-day paid absence for Continuing Medical Education)

CME: Up to $1,000 reimbursement per year for Continuing Medical Education (must be full-time and board certified)
