Location: New Haven, Connecticut

Enstructure New Haven is a full-service deep-water marine terminal operator and service provider. Strategically located in the Port of New Haven, our terminal provides turnkey, vertically integrated logistics services for dry bulk, liquid bulk, and breakbulk products. In 2018 Enstructure acquired Gateway Terminal, a bulk terminals and logistics company. This acquisition expanded Enstructure's capabilities and footprint, comprised of 22 terminals strategically located near major population hubs along the East Coast, Gulf Coast, and Inland River system. Enstructure provides full-service and reliable logistics solutions to some of the world's largest companies in the energy, agriculture, food, manufacturing, construction, and public safety sectors.

Job Description

• Proven work experience as a delivery driver.
• Ability to drive for a full work shift, 5 days per week.
• Knowledge of applicable driving rules and regulations.
• No recent moving or driving violations.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.).
• Willingness to submit to background and drug checks and provide employment recommendations.
• Compensation is based on a percentage, ensuring you receive the greater pay between hourly and trip rates.
• Home every day, with most holidays and weekends off.

Job Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A License: Must hold a valid CDL Class A driving license with a TANKER ENDORSEMENT.
• Additional Endorsements: The ability to obtain TWIC and having a Tanker Endorsement is a plus.
• Work History: Must have a verifiable work history and provide references.
• Substance Abuse Counseling: If there is any history of failed or refused drug or alcohol-related tests, proof of completed Substance Abuse Counseling.
• Experience: At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience is necessary.
• Physical Certificate: Must possess a valid Long Form CDL physical certificate.

Desired Experience

• Delivery Driving: Proven experience as a delivery driver, demonstrating reliability and efficiency.
• Regulations Knowledge: Strong understanding of applicable driving rules and regulations to ensure compliance and safety.
• Adaptability: Ability to handle unexpected situations such as traffic delays and adverse weather conditions with foresight and adaptability.
• Safety Record: A clean driving record with no recent moving or driving violations.
• Background and Drug Checks: Willingness to undergo background and drug checks, and provide employment recommendations.
• Customer Service: Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and dispatchers.
• Mechanical Skills: Basic mechanical skills for minor truck maintenance and troubleshooting.

$2500 Signing Bonus:

• $500 after 6 months.
• $1000 after 12 months.
• $500 after 18 months.
• $500 after 24 months
