Responsibilities of a Dietary Aide:
- Assist in preparing and serving meals according to residents’ dietary needs and preferences
- Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and welcoming
- Assist with food preparation, dishwashing, and kitchen sanitation
- Follow food safety and infection control guidelines
- Support residents during mealtimes and provide excellent customer service
- Work closely with the dietary team to ensure quality meal service
Qualifications of a Dietary Aide:
- Previous dietary, food service, or kitchen experience preferred
- Experience in a senior living or healthcare setting is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Genuine passion for serving seniors and creating a positive dining experience
