Shift: Nights 7a-7p

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of the patient care team, responsible for delivering both direct and indirect patient care through a comprehensive nursing process across all areas of the unit. The position requires flexibility to assume charge nurse and preceptor roles as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Assess patients upon admission and throughout their stay.
Administer IV medications, therapies, and blood as required.
Provide patient education regarding care and treatment plans.
Document nursing care actions, observations, and patient responses accurately.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department (ED) setting.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
At least 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience is required.
Candidates must not have any prior employment with the facility.
Candidates with any licensure-related hits/actions will not be considered.

Orientation

Orientation of up to 16 hours will be unpaid.

The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract. Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.
