Job Title: OR Tech III

Location: Jersey City Medical Center

Department: Operating Room

Status: Full-Time

Shift: Day

Compensation: $35.35 per hour

The stated hourly wage range reflects the expected compensation for this role in New Jersey. The final salary offered will be influenced by various factors, including the candidate's educational qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.

As a vital member of the surgical team, you will operate under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, collaborating closely with both the surgeon and RN to provide exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

• Required:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an OR Technician training program
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in scrubbing for various service lines, including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make calls, demonstrate flexibility, multitask, and work independently

• Certified Surgical Technician (required)
• NBSTSA Certification (required)
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association (required)

• 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
• Full Time
• Alternating weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage
