Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in the Jacksonville, FL area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Read and interpret structural blueprints and fabrication drawings
Layout, measure, fit, and assemble structural steel
Work with beams, columns, channels, angles, plate, and other structural components
Fit steel according to drawings and required measurements
Measure and mark material for cutting and fabrication
Use grinders, torches, saws, and other fabrication tools
Tack weld components into position for final welding
Check assemblies for proper dimensions, alignment, square, and fit
Requirements
Previous structural steel fitting experience
Strong blueprint and fabrication drawing reading skills
Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
Experience laying out and fitting structural steel
Knowledge of welding symbols and fit-up requirements
