Job Title: Senior Manager, Digital Products & Experience Location-Type: Hybrid – Reston, VA (Onsite Tuesday–Thursday) Work Hours: 40 Hours/Week | Approximately 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with flexibility Start Date Is: October 5, 2026 Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Compensation: $55/hr - $65/hr W2 | Target conversion salary of $125k–$130k Benefits: Eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), and Additional Company Benefits Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Digital Products & Experience to lead the strategy, prioritization, and delivery of digital initiatives across a complex web and digital ecosystem.

This is a hands-on digital product leadership role that combines product management, program management, technical collaboration, and digital experience optimization. The Senior Manager will own the digital product roadmap, manage incoming business requests, translate needs into actionable requirements, and partner closely with development teams to drive initiatives from initial scoping through launch.

The ideal candidate has strong digital/web product experience, working knowledge of Sitecore , and the technical aptitude to confidently partner with developers without needing to be a developer themselves. This person should be highly proactive, organized, and comfortable making decisions when balancing competing priorities and stakeholders.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the digital product roadmap, balancing immediate business requests with larger strategic initiatives
• Triage incoming requests across digital properties and determine priorities, dependencies, scope, and next steps
• Gather and translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint-ready work
• Partner closely with developers and technical teams to scope development efforts and drive work through delivery
• Manage and improve a Sitecore-based digital environment, including platform consolidation and optimization initiatives
• Lead digital projects from requirements gathering and scoping through sprint execution, testing, and launch
• Coordinate multiple initiatives, priorities, risks, dependencies, and stakeholders at a program level
• Partner across Marketing, Product, Technology, Content, UX/UI, and other business teams
• Support website integrations, third-party data initiatives, new functionality, and digital experience enhancements
• Use analytics, customer insights, and testing to identify opportunities to improve conversion, engagement, usability, acquisition, and retention
• Scope and support UX/UI, SEO, accessibility, and conversion optimization initiatives
• Communicate progress, priorities, risks, and roadblocks across technical and business stakeholders
• Proactively identify opportunities, challenges, and next steps rather than waiting for direction
• Drive continuous improvement across digital products, processes, and ways of working

Minimum Requirements:

• 5 years of digital product management, web product management, or closely related experience
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Working knowledge of Sitecore or significant experience managing a comparable enterprise CMS
• Experience owning digital or web products, including roadmap development, prioritization, requirements gathering, and delivery
• Experience creating business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to confidently communicate with developers and understand development scope, dependencies, and level of effort
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, sprint management, and project/program management
• Experience managing multiple competing requests while continuing to move larger strategic initiatives forward
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder management and communication skills
• Highly organized with strong project planning and time-management skills
• Proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to identify what needs to happen and drive work forward
• Ability to work onsite in Reston, VA Tuesday through Thursday

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing large-scale, enterprise, or global websites and digital ecosystems
• Experience with website/platform consolidation, migration, or digital transformation initiatives
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console
• Experience with Figma, Miro, or Clarity
• Knowledge of CRM, customer data, and digital integrations
• Experience with UX/UI, SEO, accessibility, website usability, and conversion optimization
• Experience using A/B or multivariate testing to improve digital performance
• Digital marketing and/or e-commerce experience
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives at a program level
• Previous supervisory or people leadership experience
• Experience within higher education or another complex, stakeholder-driven organization
