Controller

*Note, an active CPA is required per our client* Assignment Type: Permanent Hire Compensation: $200,000–$230,000 annually Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). Direct all accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, payroll accounting, and month-end close. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Ensure financial reports are accurate, complete, and delivered to executive leadership on schedule. Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Lead month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities. Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and other financial compliance activities. Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, banking partners, and other financial service providers. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local financial regulations. Partner with financial planning and operational leadership on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance. Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, working capital management, banking relationships, and debt compliance. Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, financial systems, reporting processes, and operational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Active Certified Public Accountant certification required. Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred. At least 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience. At least five years of experience in a Controller, Assistant Controller, or comparable senior accounting leadership position. Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
