Endodontic Dental Assistant Health Advocates Network is currently seeking an Endodontic Dental Assistant to work at a facility in Fredericksburg, VA. Pay Rate: $36 / hour Duties: Job Summary As an Endodontic Dental Assistant you will play a critical role in root canal and related treatments by preparing treatment rooms, assisting the endodontist during procedures, supporting patient care, and handling related administrative responsibilities. Job Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control. Assist the endodontist during root canal and related procedures, including suction, irrigation, and passing instruments. Take and process dental radiographs/CBCT scans, review patient histories, and document treatment notes accurately. Educate and support patients before, during and after procedures, including clear post-op instructions. Coordinate with front office on scheduling, referrals, and follow-up communication with patients and referring to dentists. Manage supplies and equipment, including inventory ordering and upkeep of endodontic materials. Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and safety regulations while fostering a positive, team-oriented environment. Preferred Skills & Experience: Familiarity with dental software and charting systems. Education: Required Education: Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program. OR One year of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant. Preferred Education: N/A Required Certifications & Licensure: X-ray certification. 1-2 years experience. Preferred Certifications & Licensure: Dental Assistant Certification.
