The Associate Attorney will assist in advising governmental clients on statutory compliance, governance, procurement, public meetings, and intergovernmental matters, and will support transactional work related to public projects and infrastructure. The role includes direct client interaction, drafting of legal documents, research, and general advisory responsibilities. While the firm is nationally recognized in public finance, this position will focus primarily on governmental counsel and transactional work rather than bond related matters. Key Responsibilities Provide legal counsel to governmental clients on governance, compliance, procurement, and operational matters Draft ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and intergovernmental agreements Conduct legal research on state statutes, regulations, and administrative issues Support transactional matters involving public infrastructure and public sector initiatives Maintain billable time in accordance with firm policies Participate in meetings with clients, elected bodies, administrators, and project stakeholders Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school Active member of the South Carolina Bar 1–4 years of experience in governmental, administrative, regulatory, transactional, or related practice areas Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple assignments #J-18808-Ljbffr Find Great People | FGP
