Position Summary ACN is seeking a compassionate and dedicatedRegistered Nurse (RN)to help support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving the highest quality of life possible. What We Offer Competitive pay of$28.00-$30.00 per hour Flexible schedule, approximately15-25 hours per week Meaningful work that positively impacts the lives of others Supportive team environment Opportunity to use leadership, training, and clinical skills Key Responsibilities Review medication administration and treatment documentation for persons served Monitor and provide direction to Medication Aides Conduct Medication Aide training and competency evaluations Review medication errors and implement corrective training as needed Assess health and medication-related concerns and consult with staff and management Provide training and written instructions for specialized medical procedures and medications Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and healthcare standards Prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation Assist with medication destruction as necessary Promote a positive image of ACN and the individuals we support Perform additional duties as assigned Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills Compassion and respect for individuals receiving services Effective teaching and training abilities Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Schedule Expectations This position typically works15-25 hours per week, with scheduling based on the needs of the individuals receiving services. Occasional evening or weekend phone consultation may be required. QualificationsQualifications Required Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the State of Nebraska Ability to legally work in the United States Ability to pass required background checks Valid driver's license Strong verbal and written communication skills Professionalism, reliability, and confidentiality Ability to complete and maintain required training Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams Preferred Two years of nursing experience Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities ACN is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr Autism Center Of Nebraska
