As a Quality Engineer, you'll help ensure the reliability of PCBA and electro-mechanical products used in demanding environments. You'll work across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to strengthen processes, drive defect reduction, and ensure audit-ready compliance. If you enjoy solving complex quality issues and leading data-driven improvements, this is a hands-on role with real mission impact.What you'll doMaintain and improve a QMS aligned to ISO 9001:2015Develop inspection plans for manufacturing and assembly processesAnalyse yield, scrap, rework, and defect trends to drive improvementsLead root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone, FTA) and manage CAPA/FACAROwn incoming inspection and guide QC personnelPartner with PCBA suppliers; drive SCARs and performance gainsSupport NPI (PFMEA, validation, FAI)Advance Lean/Six Sigma efforts and reduce COPQTrack KPIs and present clear, data-driven insightsEnable cross-functional alignment on quality standardsWhat you needRequired: Strong problem-solving and RCA leadershipRequired: Experience with ISO 9001, CAPA, SPC, supplier qualityRequired: 5+ years in manufacturing/PCBA assembly qualityRequired: Data-driven mindset and effective cross-functional communicationRequired: Familiarity with ERP/MES systemsRequired: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experienceAdvantage: ASQ CQE or Lean Six Sigma certificationAdvantage: IPC standards (A-610, J-STD-001) and ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor certificationWhat we offerMission-critical work supporting defence and public safetyStrong engineering culture and technical depthCross-functional collaboration across Teledyne businessesOpportunities to lead improvement initiatives end-to-endExposure to advanced sensing and electronics manufacturingApplications are reviewed, followed by a recruiter screen and interview process.
