Birthday Party HostThe AVAC Swim School is currently seeking high energy, fun and kid loving people to host our weekend Birthday Parties. You will need to provide excellent customer service with a friendly and responsive demeanor to create an exceptional entertainment experience for our customers.Duties and Responsibilities:As a part of our hosting team you will assist the families with set up/clean-up and anything they may need thorough the party (ex. serving food, cake, assisting with party games, etc.). You will also be responsible for accurately taking payment at the end of the party which will include the remainder of party fees and any add-ons that may have accrued during the party including but not limited to extra children, extra food/snacks, extra swimming/party time.No prior knowledge needed however you will be required to attend meetings/trainings regarding our birthday parties to learn all aspects of the position. Training will continue as you work with one of the Birthday leads during the parties themselves.Skills Required:Proficient in setting up quicklyWork well with the fellow hosting staff to ensure the party meets and exceeds guest's expectationsExcellent in Customer ServiceMust be safety consciousPre-requisites:Available Saturdays and/or SundaysIndoor parties 3-8Outdoor parties Sa: 12:30-3:30 Su: 10:30-1:30 and/or 12:30-3:30Commit to at least 2 parties a monthCPR/AED First Aid certification or higherBe able to lift and carry minimally 25 lbs on a regular basisCompensation: Starting at $14.00/hr + tipsReports to: Sheena Comarsh/Swim School Managers
