Job Details Job Location: Rand Whitney Container Dover NH - Dover, NH 03820 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent Salary Range: $28.15 - $32.70 Hourly Job Shift: Second Shift Job Category: Manufacturing SUMMARY The primary function of this position is to perform maintenance and repairs to manufacturing machinery, equipment, and property. This position will operate and assist in all functions of maintenance and repairs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and support equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation. Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems under the guidance of senior mechanics or supervisors. Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or malfunction, and promptly report findings to the maintenance team. Respond to unplanned maintenance requests to restore equipment functionality and maintain production schedules. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status. Follow all safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures to ensure a safe work environment during maintenance tasks. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify opportunities for equipment improvements and efficiency gains. Assist with installation, setup, and testing of new machinery or components as directed by supervisors. Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring tools and parts are properly stored after use. Participate in ongoing training and development to build technical skills and stay current with equipment and security standards Special projects as business dictates SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent required, craft or trade apprenticeship preferred 0-2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or heavy equipment required Experience in corrugated maintenance preferred Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this position and to the safety regulations. Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job. Must have attention to detail and focused concentration. Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently. Must be able to complete tasks that require a particular speed or productivity quota. Must be able to adhere to process protocol and must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner.
