Job Details Job Location: New York, NY 10001 Salary Range: $215,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year Position: Primary Care Provider (MD/DO, Bilingual English/Spanish) Job Overview The Union Health Center (UHC) is an innovative primary and multi‑specialty center focused on providing well‑coordinated and accessible healthcare. Role Summary The candidate will be an integral part of a health care team, delivering excellent patient care aimed at improving quality outcomes and patient satisfaction. Reporting to the Medical Director, the candidate will work closely with committed staff to provide outstanding care to a multicultural population. Responsibilities Deliver professional services within the Center. Elicit and record patient medical history electronically. Examine patients to determine general physical condition. Order or execute tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to obtain information about patient condition. Analyze reports and examination findings, diagnose conditions. Administer or prescribe treatments and medications. Perform telemedicine via phone and video calls, recording findings electronically. Complete charting in a timely manner. Practice medicine in accordance with federal and state guidelines. Advise patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention methods. Provide laboratory and diagnostic test results to patients promptly. Report outbreaks of contagious diseases to governmental authorities. Refer patients to specialists or other practitioners for specialized treatment. Perform minor procedures. Contribute to the development of patient care policies and standards by participating in committees. Comply with UHC policies & procedures related to privacy and security of patient information (PHI) as outlined in HIPAA training. Support the goals of the Patient Centered Medical Home by working cooperatively with clinical and non‑clinical staff to enhance the center’s team‑based approach to patient care.
