Chief Engineer

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial operations, is seeking a Chief Engineer to join their team. As a Chief Engineer, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the engineering and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Chief Engineer Location: West Union, SC What's the Job? Lead and manage the engineering team, including hiring, training, coaching, and personal development Oversee maintenance tasks for facility infrastructure and production equipment Diagnose and resolve mechanical and pneumatic issues in machines and equipment Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance procedures Manage engineering budget and participate in overall operating budget process What's Needed? 7+ years of related experience, especially as a Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, or similar role People management experience (leading a team) Universal CFC EPA certification Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use ladders up to 30 feet tall What's in it for me?
