Shipping & Receiving Clerk

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will manage all aspects of the Shipping and Receiving area for SECC. Everything will be done with the primary purpose of achieving the mission, vision, and strategies of Southeast Christian Church.

What You Will Be Doing

• Take care of all deliveries to and from the church
• Interact with delivery people and vendors
• Interact with staff and volunteers
• Deliver and pickup mail and packages throughout the Blankenbaker campus buildings
• Sort the incoming mail for interoffice delivery
• Sort and meter outgoing mail using the postage machine

• Ability to function with a high level of confidentiality, patience, tact and diplomacy.
• Personable, articulate, caring and professional
• Experience with the internet and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision but also as a part of a team
• Able to lift or move up to 20 lbs. or greater
• Organizational & administrative skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to learn technical skills quickly

Our Requirements

• High School Graduate
• Prior similar job experience
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one.
