Pay & Benefits $15.00 – $18.00 per hour Paid Time Off Closed on Sundays Employee discounts Health & retirement benefits (may vary by location) Position Overview Our Manager in Training (MIT) program is designed to develop future leaders within our stores. In this role, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across all areas of the business, including sales, customer service, operations, and account management. Most store managers started in this role — making it a strong entry point for long‑term growth within the company. This is a fully in‑person position. What You’ll Do Learn all aspects of store operations through hands‑on training Build and maintain strong customer relationships Drive sales and meet performance goals Manage customer accounts and payment activity Assist with inventory management and merchandising Support in‑home delivery and product setup Provide excellent customer service in‑store and during deliveries Requirements & Responsibilities Must meet eligibility requirements to operate a company vehicle (including age and driving record requirements) This is an in‑person position; remote work is not available Strong organizational and time management skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills High school diploma or GED required Physical Requirements Ability to lift, load, and move merchandise with the use of equipment (items may weigh up to 300 lbs with assistance) Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting Ability to navigate stairs while handling furniture, appliances, and electronics Comfortable with extended periods of standing and driving Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions Additional Information Buddy’s Home Furnishings is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug‑Free Workplace.
