We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in restrooms, public access areas including vintage excursion train cars, and commercial kitchens, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment. This role is essential in providing exceptional service and support within tourism, industrial, or custodial environments. Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping management is a plus, but we value a strong work ethic and attention to detail above all. Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of passenger rest rooms, public areas, or designated spaces such as commercial kitchens, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in both buildings and vintage passenger railroad cars

Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning as needed

Restock supplies such as toiletries, and cleaning materials to ensure readiness for passengers, food service operations or employee uses.

Follow established protocols for sanitation and safety standards in accordance with health regulations and railroad safety procedures

Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly

Adhere to all safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properly to prevent accidents

Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is preferred

Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation

Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures or industrial cleaning practices is advantageous

Excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining efficiency

Good organizational skills for managing supplies and completing tasks on time

Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues
