Commissioning Manager

Responsibilities Lead the commissioning and CX efforts through all levels (1‑5) on mission‑critical facilities, specifically data centers. Possess a technical background and understanding of major electrical and mechanical equipment, including medium and high‑voltage equipment, BAS/BMS/EPMS operating procedures, load banking, third‑party NETA testing standards, HVAC test and balance, and IR scanning. Coordinate, schedule, and manage equipment vendors and create and manage the CX schedule. Assist QA/QC in pre‑energization inspections of equipment. Work with EHS and Field Supervision to ensure LOTO practices are communicated and safe. Track, communicate, and bring to resolution any issues or functional defects of equipment prior to and during the CX process. Review third‑party test reports and coordinate with third‑party CX teams. Review CX, load banking, and IR scanning test reports and drive any open items to closure. Manage third‑party CX teams while on site. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in all CX levels (1‑5) inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical/mechanical systems. Detailed understanding of MEP system designs and how they integrate to meet contract documents and sequence of operations. 3+ years of experience with automated commissioning management software. Ability to read, review, and interpret technical details of high‑value MEP equipment. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or eight years equivalent experience plus a minimum of seven years relevant experience (military experience, e.g., Navy, Nuke, Electrician/HVAC programs).
