Welder 2nd Shift

Welder PositionWe have a new client that needs some welders. The welder performs repetitive work-station welding operations to mass produce axle components or to assemble those components onto a completed axle. Welders should be familiar with automated welding and gauging. Welders are responsible for working in a safe manner according to the policies and procedures listed in the employee handbook. Welders are involved in company programs that highlight safety improvements, new procedures, and new/different uses of tools and equipment to improve quality and efficiency.Job Duties:Weld and assemble axles and partsFollow all procedures and shop floors to ensure a quality productInform their supervisor of any shortages and possible substitutionsFollow schedules and ensure that schedules are completed on time and correctlyInform the supervisor/group leader of any problems or quality defectsMaintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsWork within and promote a team atmosphere among co-workersRework axles as neededPerform other tasks or duties as assignedRequirements:Welders must be certified for the job he/she is performing or is within their training period to be certified according to the training proceduresMust have MIG welding experienceWelders must be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and can work well with others in a team environmentMust possess a good work ethic and be adaptable to a fast-paced work environmentMust have the flexibility to work overtimeMust be able to lift to 55 lbs.Reports To: Production SupervisorThe shift is from 4 pm to 12 am p,m with OT. (MUST be able to work Saturdays when needed) $25.25 to start American StaffCorp
