As an Access Control Officer supporting a high-tech data center location, you will manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.06 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and contractor entry processes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and/or emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entry points, perimeter locations, and critical infrastructure areas, to help deter unauthorized activity. Operate access control and related monitoring systems in accordance with site procedures, report equipment issues, and document incidents and shift activities thoroughly. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Possess a college degree. Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
