Temporary - Athletic Contest Worker - Athletics Department

Perform routine athletic duties as assigned. Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent. Special Knowledge/Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with people effectively. Strong time management skills. Fluent in English (speaking and writing). Bilingual a plus. Experience: Previous experience preferred.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Athletics Support: Interact with and provide assistance to district personnel. Assist Administrative Assistant, Executive Director and other Department Directors with various office duties as assigned.
• Perform assigned Athletic department functions such as, but not limited to, concessions, gate work, parking, score keeping, ticket selling and taking, graduation, athletic training, sports event needs, etc.
• Participate in cross-training. Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Equipment Used: Various office equipment depending on assignment.

Working Conditions:

Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress. Work with frequent interruptions. This position requires regular in-person interaction with the public.

Physical Demands: Repetitive hand motions. Prolonged and irregular hours depending on the assignment. Frequent sitting, standing, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling depending on the assignment.
