Assistant Men's Volleyball CoachAre you passionate about coaching and helping student-athletes achieve their full potential both on and off the court? St. Ambrose University is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Athletics Department in this 10-month position as an Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach. The successful candidate will have coaching responsibilities in volleyball and assist in the recruitment of the men's volleyball program.Key Responsibilities:Participate in coaching during practices and games, providing constructive feedback and instruction.Work closely with student-athletes to develop skills, improve performance, and foster team unity.Contribute to strategy development for both individual players and team play, ensuring consistent progression.Assist the Head Coach in the day-to-day operations of the Men's Volleyball program, including but not limited to: practice planning, game preparation, recruiting, and team management.Assist in recruiting qualified student-athletes to join the volleyball program.Collaborate with the athletic department to ensure the overall well-being and academic success of student-athletes.Ensure compliance with NAIA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations.Support team travel logistics, as needed, including organizing transportation and accommodations for away games.Qualifications:Bachelor 's degree (required).Previous experience as a volleyball coach (preferably at the collegiate level).Strong understanding of volleyball fundamentals, strategy, and player development.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Knowledge of NAIA rules and regulations (preferred).A commitment to the academic and athletic success of student- athletes.Benefits:10-month position, August through May.
