Located in Peachtree Corners, GA, we are a leading women’s health practice specializing in advanced gynecologic care, and we pride ourselves on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive and professional environment.

As the Medical Billing Manager , you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the financial health of our practice while supporting our mission to provide exceptional care to patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee medical, surgical, and aesthetics billing, including insurance and self-pay accounts.
• Prepare and review office claims, code surgical services from operative notes, and resolve documentation questions with providers.
• Manage assigned prior authorizations, insurance verification, and tracking of unbilled encounters and completed surgeries.
• Coordinate with Northside/PBS, which handles significant claim submission, payment posting, patient statements, and follow-up functions.
• Monitor Med Metrix and RCx; resolve claim errors, coordinate denials and appeals, and investigate reimbursement discrepancies.
• Oversee aesthetics payments, memberships, treatment packages, prepaid balances, and account reconciliation.
• Monitor outstanding balances and billing trends, identifying missed charges and opportunities for improvement.
• Reconcile monthly PSA reports and payments, maintain provider RVU and bonus tracking, and prepare billing and aesthetics reports for leadership.
• Support patient billing inquiries, surgical estimates, and authorized billing-related records requests.
• Train and oversee assigned staff, maintain procedures and backup coverage, and improve billing handoffs across departments.
• Use approved technology and automation to improve efficiency while maintaining coding accuracy, financial controls, and patient confidentiality.

We’re searching for a candidate who is not only experienced but also passionate about supporting our patients and team. The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in a healthcare or specialty practice setting.
• Experience leading billing workflows, training staff, and coordinating with external billing partners.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, modifiers, insurance requirements, denials, and appeals.
• Experience with self-pay billing, payment tracking, and account reconciliation.
• Ability to analyze reports, investigate discrepancies, and follow issues through resolution.
• Strong organization, communication, problem-solving, and accountability.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with providers and staff.

Preferred experience includes:

• Gynecologic surgical coding and aesthetics billing.
• Supporting multiple locations, standardizing processes, or helping a practice grow.
• Practice operations involving staffing, budgets, scheduling, vendors, and patient service.
• eClinicalWorks, Northside billing systems, Med Metrix, or RCx.
• Coding certification such as CPC or CCS.
