Certified Medication Aide

Springs Village Care Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for safely administering medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and company policies, while providing exceptional care and support to enhance their quality of life. Certified Medical Assistant only. QMAP not considered for this role.
Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents accurately and timely.
• Monitor residents for side effects and report any changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist with resident care activities as needed, promoting a safe and comfortable environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and adhere to Springs Village Care Center policies.

Requirements:

• Valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in Colorado.
• BLS/CPR Certified.
• Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
