As an Industrial Millwright in Perry, GA, you'll play a critical role in keeping our sawmill operating safely and efficiently by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the equipment that powers our operation. As part of our maintenance team, you'll use your mechanical, hydraulic, welding, and fabrication skills to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support production. Quarterly Gainshare Bonus (performance based).What You'll DoRead and understand equipment drawings and blueprints.Perform routine preventative maintenance duties.Cut, weld, and perform fabrication work with different types of steel.Assess and repair machinery and hydraulic problems in a timely manner.Determine shaft sizes, measure up, and build shafts for replacement.Recognize and change sprockets, bearings, and chains etc.Adhere to an absolute lock-out policy, ensuring that the power source is turned off, machine locked out, and tested to ensure isolation.Submit work requests and complete work orders.What You'll Bring2 to 4 years of millwright level experience.Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work in varying seasonal climate conditions.High School Diploma/Equivalent Preferred.Manufacturing, sawmill, lumber, or industrial maintenance experience preferred.Physical Requirements: Walking, standing, climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to work around moving equipment and machinery. Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
