Start Date: Will discuss upon application

End Date/Duration: Permanent position

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no evenings or weekends)

Hours/Week: 40 hours

Licensing/Certifications: Doctor of Optometry (OD), Alabama State Optometry License

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose visual and ocular health conditions
• Prescribe and fit contact lenses and eyewear for patients
• Manage and treat ocular conditions, including prescribing medications and therapeutic interventions
• Educate patients on eye health and treatment options
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain current knowledge of industry advancements and technology
• Support patient education and manage follow-up care

What You Need

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Alabama State Optometry License

• Experience with comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and ocular therapeutics
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high patient volume
