Job Qualifications

• Experience: 2–4+ years of salaried back-of-house leadership as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or Culinary Director in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.

• Culinary Excellence: Strong background in high-volume line execution, scratch prep management, recipe adherence, and attractive plating.

• Team Leadership: Proven success recruiting, onboarding, training, and inspiring back-of-house line cooks and prep staff.

• Financial Discipline: Skilled in food cost tracking, yield management, weekly inventory control, vendor ordering, and kitchen labor scheduling.

• Health & Safety: Current ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification (or ability to earn certification upon hire); meticulous knowledge of sanitation codes.

Job Responsibilities

• Direct all daily heart-of-house operations as our dedicated Kitchen Manager in Cornelius, NC.

• Ensure every dish leaves the pass at proper temperatures, within ticket-time goals, and strictly meeting flavor and recipe specs.

• Supervise scratch food preparation, line pars, station stocking, and proper rotation (FIFO) across all cooler and freezer units.

• Control prime kitchen costs by auditing weekly food inventories, monitoring waste logs, and building smart, efficient line schedules.

• Onboard, coach, and cross-train line cooks, prep cooks, and dish crew in culinary execution and kitchen safety protocols.

• Partner with front-of-house leadership to maintain seamless expo coordination throughout the Cornelius, NC operation.

• Maintain immaculate kitchen sanitation, equipment upkeep, and 100% compliance with local health department regulations.
