We’re working a minimum of 5 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross-functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. ​​In this role, you will:Lead development, optimization, and validation of manufacturing processes for new and existing productsDrive process design, equipment selection, and layout to ensure efficient, scalable productionPartner with R&D, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to support new product introduction (NPI) and commercializationIdentify and execute automation opportunities, including transitioning manual processes to automated solutionsDevelop and implement process controls using statistical methods (SPC, DOE, capability analysis)Lead process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, ISO)Investigate process issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actionsSupport continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologiesMentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional team membersContribute to strategic AME roadmaps aligned to business and site goalsMust Have: Minimum RequirementsBachelors Degree with a minimum of 4 years related experience ORAdvanced Degree with 2 years of related work experienceNice to Have: Preferred QualificationsExperience in medical device or other regulated manufacturing environmentsStrong background in automation, equipment integration, or advanced manufacturing technologiesExperience with plastics processing (injection molding, extrusion) or complex assembly processesDemonstrated success supporting NPI and process scale-upKnowledge of process validation, risk management (FMEA), and quality systemsLean Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement experienceStrong data analysis and problem-solving skillsFor Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.Physical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. The physical demands described within the Responsibilities section of this job description are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
