Staff Product Manager, Agentic Experiences (Former Engineer)

Role Description
Deepgram is looking for a Staff Product Manager to own our product experience for AI coding agents across its lifecycle:
- Discovery and recommendation
- Integration and onboarding
- Production use
- Verification
You will build the system that keeps improving the agent experience as behavior changes, reporting to the VP of Self-Serve. This role requires a former engineer who is deeply AI-native, capable of prototyping, reading and writing code, and reasoning with engineering at depth.
What You'll Do
- Own the agent's experience of Deepgram across its lifecycle.
- Stand up a system that measures and optimizes every stage of the funnel for agents.
- Own product surfaces specific to the agent experience, including signup, authentication, and verification tooling.
- Set requirements for shared developer platforms and prototype changes in partnership with the team.
- Establish the operating system for your work, focusing on data-driven optimization and experimentation.
- Turn agent traffic into fast feedback loops for product improvement.
- Bring the product's perspective on agents as users, identifying needs and areas for change.
Qualifications
- Excellent product management judgment.
- A former engineer's depth (required).
- Deep AI fluency, proven by shipped work (required).
- Proven ability to stand up a complete system from scratch.
- PLG and developer-product fluency.
- Judgment to distrust a number or a passing test before building on it.
- Clear communication with executives.
Requirements
- Were a senior software engineer or more before moving to product.
- Have built and shipped AI software that goes beyond prompt files and markdown.
- Experience in building systems for business rhythms, reporting, and optimization.
- Understanding of how developers and their agents adopt APIs.
- Ability to lead with decisions and handle pushback effectively.
