Admissions Coordinator

Full‑Time | Martinsville, IN As an Admissions Coordinator at our Martinsville, Indiana location, you will play a key role in supporting patient access to care. This position is responsible for coordinating admissions and discharges, verifying benefits, and supporting intake and referral processes to ensure a smooth and compassionate experience for patients and families entering treatment. Mission‑driven organization focused on access to care Meaningful role at the start of the recovery journey Collaborative, team‑based work environment Opportunities for professional growth Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university preferred (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree) Three (3) to five (5) years of intake or admissions experience preferred, ideally in behavioral healthcare Proven experience developing and maintaining referral relationships and networking strategies Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills COVID‑19 vaccination or approved exemption, per policy Responsibilities Coordinate admissions and discharges for patients Verify insurance benefits and eligibility Assist with utilization review by supporting billing coordination with the corporate office Coordinate and collect co‑pays, deductibles, and other patient fees at admission, during treatment, or at discharge Assist with arranging patient payment plans as needed Serve as a liaison to patients regarding insurance benefits and coverage Schedule and complete admission assessments and required documentation Support performance improvement initiatives aligned with organizational goals Perform other duties as assigned Benefits 18 days Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) with company match Company‑sponsored training and certification opportunities Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, and accident insurance Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Loan Repayment Program (STAR LRP) Join our team.
