Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2200 per week.

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Required Credentials: - Must be registered, registry eligible, or certified by the NBRC. - Must be a graduate of an approved school of respiratory care.

Unit Details: - Responsible for the safe and effective administration of medically prescribed medications, knowing their indications and contraindications. - Follows the indications, contraindications, policies, and procedures for administering therapeutic modalities, including nebulizers, CPT, Flutter Valve, CPAP/BiPAP, and high flow. - Sets up and monitors oxygen aerosol administration; maintains oxygen cylinders in proper carriers at all times. - Performs all aspects of artificial airway care, including deep blind tracheal suctioning on patients. - Measuring devices include, but are not limited to, pulse oximeters, Wright’s respirometers, manometers, cuff/pressure devices, and oxygen blenders. - Sets up, performs safety checks on, monitors, and troubleshoots mechanical ventilators. - Familiar with CPAP setup and administration. - Maintains accurate and legible records and documents clinical notes in patients’ charts.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
