Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA)Charleston ENT & Allergy is seeking a full-time MEDICAL ASSISTANT or EMT to join our practice! This critical role will provide efficient and competent support for our providers. Our Medical Assistants/EMTs are one of the most important assets of our company! They are imperative to the daily flow of clinic by ensuring our patients get the care they need. This position is for the person that never wants to be bored at work.Take advantage of our COMPETITIVE pay scale. We offer $20.00-$23.00/hourly, depending on experience! As you progress in your MA training, you are eligible for additional increases.Duties:Patient check in/outClinic opening and closingTriaging patients and assisting physicians with patients and proceduresScheduling testingCalling in prescriptionsPerforming allergy shots, and taking vitalsAdministering tympanometry exams for ear pressureManaging hospital consultation requests for physiciansFloating between front and back office responsibilities as neededScanning patient records and other information as necessaryContacting insurance companies to pre-certify tests and procedures for PhysiciansProviding excellent customer service to patientsOther duties as assignedFull Benefits- after waiting period
