As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating patient outcomes and implementing effective respiratory care plans. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible care for patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patient outcomes and making necessary changes in the plan of care
• Providing clear instructions to patients and responsible persons regarding respiratory disease processes and interventions
• Accepting reassignment to other units when necessary
• Sharing clinical knowledge with staff and students as a role model for clinical practice
• Planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of respiratory care
• Providing respiratory care as ordered by physicians, maintaining communication with medical and nursing staff

Requirements for this role include:

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy
• RRT Illinois License
• BLS and NRP-MHC certifications
• Need 1 year experience in setting
