Quick Facts:

• Duration: Permanent
• Shift: A combination of 12-hour and 24-hour shifts, including on-call from home
• Hours/week: Approximately 12 shifts/month (~18 days off)
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Licenses/Certifications: Required state licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Experience: Prior neonatal or pediatric care experience preferred but new fellows encouraged to apply

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with Neonatologists to provide neonatal and newborn care across four Level II NICUs in the Oklahoma City Metro Area
• Manage patient care for newborns and their families in Lakeside, Southwest, Canadian Valley, and Edmond facilities
• Cover various shifts, including on-call duties from home, ensuring continuous neonatal care coverage
• Provide assessments, care planning, and intervention for neonates, including stabilizations and discharge planning
• Support and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative neonatal care environment

What You Need:
Required:

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma
• Neonatal or pediatric care certification (if applicable)
• Ability to work flexible shifts including overnight and on-call
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Preferred:

• Previous experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) or pediatrics
• Residency within Oklahoma City or surrounding areas
