Qualifications

• State License Compact licenses are allowed. License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Operating Room in last 3 years.
• Travel Experience 6 weeks of travel experience.
• Skills Assessment ORO skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• Additional Confirmations I have never worked as a permanent employee of the health system in the past year..
• Additional Confirmations I confirm that I understand fingerprints are a mandatory requirement for all travelers in NM. I am aware this process takes several weeks and must be started immediately to avoid start date delays.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with general, ambulatory, and robotic OR procedures, including Da Vinci Xi and Mako Surgical Systems is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, mastectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, thyroidectomy, tonsillectomy, total joint replacement, and fracture repair is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with conscious sedation monitoring, cardiac monitoring, code response, universal protocol, infection control, fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, and managing malignant hyperthermia and latex allergy is required.
• Travel Contract Must travel at least 50.0 miles to receive a travel stipend. Local candidates are eligible, but the pay package may adjust the rate by a few dollars per hour, will not contain a travel stipend, and will be entirely taxable.
• Requested Time Off Up to 3 days of time off can be requested.
