Job Description:

Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking a Travel ICU RN to provide total care to ICU patients, including ventilator management, titratable drips, and hygiene care. The position requires floating to ER and MS departments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide total care for ICU patients.
• Float to ER and Med Surg departments as needed.
• Assist with patient care including answering call lights, passing meds, and starting IVs in ER.
• Take full assignment of patients or act as an aide in Med Surg with up to 12 patients.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• Experience with vents, titratable drips, and mixing medications preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; TNCC preferred.
• ER and Med Surg experience required.
• Fingerprinting required for all NM travelers.
