Emergency Department Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a night shift position. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Emergency Department. Candidates with travel experience will be given preference. EPIC charting system experience is required. The nurse will care for patients in various critical conditions, including chest pain, stroke, and sepsis. Patient care also involves managing trauma cases and respiratory illnesses. The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4, increasing to 5 with lower acuity patients. The average daily census is approximately 140 patients. The unit accommodates all age groups from neonates to geriatrics. Weekend and holiday shifts are required as scheduled. Floating within the specialty may be necessary as needed. Additional required skills include managing ventilated patients, IV therapies, and interpreting diagnostic tests. Candidates should possess strong assessment skills and the ability to work in a high-paced environment. We are looking for team players who can collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
