Details Level 1 trauma Operating Room unit with 22 beds Serves all patient ages 1:1 patient ratios Common procedures include Ortho, Gyne, OB, Plastics, General, Cardiovascular, Neuro, Urology, Breast, and Podiatry surgeries Uses EPIC EMR Varied day shifts including 9-5, 11-7, 1-9, and 3-11, plus weekend daylight shifts Weekend coverage required every other weekend or as needed Call required one to two times per week in 8-hour increments Floating required as needed Requirements Active RN license (PA or Compact) required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required CPI/HWC certification required Minimum 3 years of OR experience required Charge RN experience preferred Level 1 trauma experience preferred Robotic surgery experience preferred Additional Information Work at a tertiary care regional referral hospital with Level 1 Trauma Center and Level 3 Regional Intensive Care Nursery designations Blue scrubs provided; casual attire not permitted Weekly orientation held every Monday All required background screenings, including PA Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI/DHS fingerprinting, and PATCH State Police Clearance, must be completed and cleared before start Candidates must live 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment American Traveler Job ID P-748730.
