Assistant Business Office Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Assistant Business Office Manager to join our team at Edgecombe Health Center by Harborview. As a prominent player in the healthcare industry, we pride ourselves on our commitment to exceptional patient care and a positive work environment. In this vital role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial and operational effectiveness of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Business Office Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business office, including billing, insurance, and patient accounts

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, reports, and analysis

  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

  • Supervise and train staff members to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality work

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing and insurance issues

  • Analyze and interpret financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue and improve profitability

  • 1 minimum years of experience in a business office or related field
