Overview Susquehanna is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a front office team responsible for designing and building low-latency trading systems that power our trading strategies. Our short development cycles mean your work reaches production quickly, and your impact is immediate and visible.In this role, you will:Design and build high-performance, low-latency systems where architecture choices directly affect trading outcomesOwn the full technical stack — from system design through implementation — with a focus on stability, scalability, and minimizing operational riskEvaluate and prototype new technologies, tools, and approaches to keep our systems and infrastructure ahead of the curveApply strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, to build systems that are both fast and maintainable What we’re looking for Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent3+ years of progressive experience developing software applications or trading infrastructureStrong foundation in system design, with the judgment to balance performance, reliability, and simplicityExperience with (or strong aptitude for) high-performance or low-latency system developmentSolid object-oriented programming skills and sound engineering practicesComfort working directly with non-engineering stakeholders (traders, quants) to shape technical solutions around real trading needsCuriosity and initiative, with a track record of investigating new technologies and proposing improvementsAbout SusquehannaSusquehanna is a global quantitative trading firm powered by scientific rigor, curiosity, and innovation.
