Position Summary

CareNationDC is hiring a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker to provide clinical assessments, therapy, treatment planning, crisis support, and ongoing behavioral health services to clients.

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and psychosocial evaluations.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as appropriate.
• Develop personcentered treatment plans.
• Complete progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries on time.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when needed.
• Coordinate care with psychiatrists, APRNs, case managers, RSS staff, and external providers.
• Participate in clinical meetings, supervision, and quality assurance reviews.
• Follow DBH, Medicaid, HIPAA, and CareNationDC documentation standards.
• Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times.
Qualifications
• Active LICSW license in Washington, DC required.
• Experience in behavioral health, SUD, community mental health, or outpatient clinical care preferred.
• Strong clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of traumainformed care, crisis intervention, and evidencebased practices preferred.
