Associate - Inventory I - A

Job Title: Inventory Associate

A Shift M-F 6am-430pm

Location: Orlando, FL

Type: Contract / On-Site

Compensation: $28 per hour

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating, monitoring, and escalating roadblocks that could cause downstream defects.

• Assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts related to inventory and fulfillment processes.

• Properly operate heavy equipment including PIT equipment, forklifts, electronic pallet jacks, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks, following safety and maintenance procedures.

• Receive shipments, unload deliveries, and inspect packages for quality and compliance with SOPs.

• Conduct quality control checks on parts and materials, ensuring adherence to standards.

• Document receipts and work orders accurately using inventory management tools.

• Input data into inventory systems, navigating modules and reading information to complete tasks efficiently.

• Identify and apply appropriate packaging for parts, ensuring proper wrapping and storage throughout workflow stages.

• Sort, stage, and move packages or crates, securing items to prevent loss.

• Label and mark parts according to SOP requirements for proper tracking and analysis.

• Store parts properly, perform storage audits, and follow SOPs for inventory management.

Requirements

• Experience in fulfillment operations, including inventory counting, receiving, and packing (include years and companies if available).

• Experience with receiving or shipping inventory, including put-away, picking, kitting, or shipping tasks.

• Willingness to drive a forklift with training.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Fundamental knowledge of operating heavy equipment and safety procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.

• Proficiency in data entry and inventory management systems.

• Good organizational skills for sorting, staging, and storage.
