Job Description
Job Title: MRI Tech

Experience: 1 year required; first-timers accepted
License: Valid state license required
Certifications: BLS & ARRT required; ARRT Advanced certification preferred


Must-Have:
PACS and contrast skills required.
MRI procedure experience, including head/neck, abdomen/pelvis, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion, gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, MIP, MRP, spin echo images, surface coils, and T-1/T-2 weighted images.
Experience with Philips equipment preferred.
Philips iSite PACS document scanning and Care Logistics software experience preferred.


Description:
The MRI Tech will conduct MRI scans and related procedures.
The position requires a daily caseload of 10-15 patients.
Weekend availability is not required, but on-call may be needed as necessary.
The candidate will not float within the facility to meet needs.
Candidates must have experience with a variety of MRI techniques.
A background in outpatient imaging is desirable.
Knowledge of the Epic charting system is preferred.
All required certifications should be obtained prior to the start of the position.
Successful candidates will need to complete necessary modules before beginning work.
The unit will maintain standard patient ratios as per operational needs.
The environment will foster interdisciplinary support and collaboration.
Candidates should be prepared to follow established protocols for patient care and procedure execution.
