Premier Plastic Surgery Center is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Registered Nurse to join our team in a multifaceted role supporting our operating room, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU), office nursing, and accreditation compliance. The ideal candidate is a skilled, compassionate professional who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is committed to exceptional patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures, including pre-operative assessments, circulating in an operating room, PACU monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and post-operative follow-up.
• Assist the surgeon during procedures while maintaining strict aseptic technique and patient safety standards.
• Coordinate surgical scheduling, patient preparation, medical clearances, prescriptions, supplies, implants, and equipment to ensure efficient, on-time surgeries.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, respond to patient concerns, and provide telephone triage and follow-up.
• Maintain operating room readiness, cleanliness, equipment checks, and efficient room turnovers.
• Oversee AAAASF accreditation, regulatory standards, quality assurance meetings, staff education, and required documentation.
• Orient and mentor staff and collaborate with office management to improve workflow, cost efficiency, and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina RN license and BLS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU and OR experience.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication, patient service, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a surgical setting requiring frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
